“Dos Generaciones En Un Canto” – Traditional East-Venezuelan Archival Music Project

The main artist and producers will be presenting samples, describing the artistic forms and answering questions about the music included in the project “Dos Generaciones En Un Canto”. The art project consists of the research and production of an archival-type musical album consisting of 12 tracks that document some of the oldest folk musical traditions of the eastern Venezuela region, a tradition that has long been underrepresented. This project is partially funded by the City of Houston, through the Houston Arts Alliance.
