Join us at our Annual Spring Benefit to get to know author Clint Smith, to enjoy an inspiring and beautiful dinner, and to support The Jung Center.

Clint Smith is an acclaimed writer, poet, and scholar, whose bestselling book How the Word Is Passed received the National Book Critics Circle Award for Nonfiction and was hailed by The New York Times as “an extraordinary contribution to the way we understand ourselves.”

A staff writer at The Atlantic, Clint is the author of three award-winning books, including a book of poetry on the simultaneous wonder and despair of fatherhood. Clint’s writing has been published in The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, Poetry Magazine, The Paris Review, and elsewhere. He was raised in New Orleans, graduated (post-Hurricane Katrina) from The Awty International School in Houston, and received his PhD in Education from Harvard University.
