First Congregational Church of Houston (FCC) was founded in 1955 by Congregationalists from the Northeast. FCC was one of the first progressive and integrated churches in Houston; inclusion and acceptance have remained core values of the church today.
The congregation is diverse yet bound together by dedication to progressive Christianity, social justice outreach, commitment to a strong missions program and existing as an open, yet closely-knit Christian community.
