Alabama Song Houston

Alabama Song is a community shine parlor that fosters the exchange of ideas across cultural disciplines. It exploits two of Houston’s specialties: irregular zoning and hospitality. Alabama Song works in close collaboration with artists, writers, musicians, and curators to build a gender safe scene for artists of color to develop experimental work and test new ideas. It is an acknowledgement of the vulnerability artists face.
