Event Series Event Series: Effective Communication (Hybrid)

Effective Communication (Hybrid)

January 30 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

How can we speak without harming others – without judging, bullying, blaming, or refusing to listen?

Join us as we practice the skills of Nonviolent Communication, as developed by psychologist Dr. Marshall Rosenberg. This course combines practices of mindfulness with the principles of Nonviolent Communication and explores how adding mindfulness to the process of communicating with others can allow us to tune into our bodies, even in the midst of difficult conversations. Come and learn, through experiential exercises, tools that lead to less reactivity, and to a greater capacity for expressing our own needs and hearing the needs of others.
